Reading at home

The grade ones are so excited and proud to be learning to read. Please give them an audience and support them by listening to them read from their yellow duotangs every day. This daily reading practise makes a big difference in their reading development.

  1. Zac is very proud of his yellow reading book. Im very happy to see that he is excited about it and learning to read. Usually he uses books as a ramp for his toy cars or something like that, so this is a great step. Thanks! This is a very elaborate blog. Very well put together. Impressive, Thanks!

On the last day of school we worked on various activities in our teams. In our classroom, we made cards with Karly (the cricket machine).

There were bells under our seats!

We had hot chocolate, cookies, and candy canes on the train.

We watched the movie at the end of the day. Mrs. Macey made her world-famous popcorn! Yum!
